Silk Painting Class Coming Up

Welcome to Intermediate Silk Painting Level 1

You have begun a fascinating journey in the art of silk painting and completed the beginners course learning the very basics of silk painting.

This level 1 course introduces you to the technique of using Silk Dyes that must be set with a Fixative or Steam Heat. As a group we will be doing a Watercolor Painting on a silk scarf that will be donated to the charity "SAFE".

You will learn how to make a color chart, how to make a 50/50/Dilutant, how to create texture and patterns with Alcohol, and I will demonstrate how to make your own steamer.
